1 Name of the Project PIMPLOLI PROJECT 2 Need Assessment. (1) Water and Sanitation :Toilet Blocks and building of Water Tank (2) Aanganwadi School Building (3)Tree Plantation (4)Medical Check-up Centres 3 Beneficiaries. 400 residents and 100 School Children of Pimploli Village 4 Number of Rotarians participated and involved. 10 Rotarians actively participated in this project. 5 Objective: The idea was to provide all the essential facilities like toilet blocks, a water tank, a play area for students and also Tree plantation. 6 Details in brief: Rotary Club of Nigdi-Pune took the responsibility of creating a Happy Village. The idea was to provide facilities for the improvement and betterment of the village. We provided toilet blocks for construction of sanitation facility and an area for providing basic education to children. The proposed cost of Project are as follows: (a)Rs.5 lakh for Water Tank and Toilet blocks (b)Rs. 5 lakh for Anganwadi School (c)Rs. 4 lakh for Tree plantation, water storage bhandara and toilet blocks and beautification Out of which 6.5 Lakhs have been spent till date. 8 Enhancement of Public Image and Publicity in Community. Positive impact on the nearby villages. A positive energy amongst villagers for development of their village.
