President Blog

My dear Rotary Family,

Rotary is magic and Rotarian are the magician. I am honoured to be a part of such a charismatic and vibrant Club - Rotary Club of Nigdi Pune.

Shouldering the responsibility of Presidentship is indeed an opportunity to spread the light of generosity and compassion in the darkest part of the community. On 11st July 2023, I took up the reigns of one of the vibrant clubs RC Nigdi Pune.We have 22 directors and 58 chairmans working for the club activities and projects. Our Signature project Runathon is planned in the monsoon on  8th oct 2023

Our club is like a family and we work united and unanimously. As Rotarians we must enhance our abilities, adaptability and expand our reach connecting to all the sources to fulfill the need in mankind.

Rotary International President Elect, Gordon McInally, of Scotland, has announced the theme for the 2023-2024 Rotary Year – 'Create Hope in the World'. The theme calls on Rotarians to inspire and to restore hope through the projects they champion. We will surely be working in this direction.

D.G.Rtn.Manjoo mentioned in her speech that "God cannot be everywhere, therefore he created ROTARIAN". Her support and guidance has given us more confidence that surely we will have a successful Rotary year.

Our Club has very supportive Past Presidents and each member is very supportive and helpful.

As the President of our Club I am lucky to have wholeheartedly support of all the Past Presidents, Board of Directors, Chairman, Co Chairman, Rotarian, Anns and Annets. With your support friends,  We will definitely Create Hope in the world.

Want to increase women members in the club. Want to work with Rotractors and Interactors.

Our club is 35 year old, doing various projects, to name few, NICU in hospitals, Solar pannels in fields, Oxygen plant given in Covid, Science labs in schools etc

I want to enjoy my rotary year with my fellow rotarians, anns  and annets, with lot of fun and cultural activites also.

Create Hope In The World

Regards

President 23-24
