1 Name of the Project SHYAMCHI AAI PROJECT 2 Need Assessment. Each Ann took up the responsibility of at least one needy child. 3 Beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of this project are the underprivileged children. 4 Number of Rotarians participated and involved. 11 Anns participated in this project 5 Help Provided Approximately a help of Rs. 193,000 /- was provided. 6 Status of the Project It is an ongoing project as the Anns are providing financial aid to the child till he/she becomes Independent. Ours is the only club doing such a project. 7 Details in brief: The Anns provided financial help by paying their education expenses and purchasing their school text books and uniforms. They are also providing food and shelter to these children. 8 Benefits of the projects The academic progress of these children is monitored by our Anns. Few of them got well educated and are now working in the well renowned companies of these Rotarians. Our Anns have also provided financial support for the marriage of a “Girl Child”
