Need Assessment. (a)To provide pulse polio drops (b)To provide logistic support to the volunteers 3 Beneficiaries. The children of the age group 3 - 5 years 4 Number of Rotarians participated and involved. 20 Rotarians actively participated in this project. 5 Help Provided Free Polio drops were provided to the children. With this we provided 1200 food packets as well as logistic support for transportation of vaccine and volunteers. 6 Status of the Project Our Club was successful in spreading the awareness of the importance of eradication of Pulse Polio 7 Details in brief: On 19th January and 23rd February or Club took the initiative of providing logistic support for the transportation of Pulse polio vaccines as well as for the volunteers appointed to give the vaccine. With this we provided about 1200 food packets along with other clubs to these volunteers. 8 Enhancement of Public Image and Publicity in Community. District Team consisting National Polio Committee Chairman Rtn. S.K.Jain,District Director for Polio Rtn. Sandesh Sawant and District Co-ordinator Rtn.Gopal Niha visited our centre in Akurdi and personally administered Polio Drops
