The Rotary Club of Nigdi arranged a “Burns Prevention Awareness Campaign” for 153 schools located at PCMC area. The Club distributed CD’s containing details about various precautions and prevention to be taken care by the school children while in contact with Fire and Fire generating Equipments. It also contained information about the precautions and First Aid required in case of burns caused due to fire. The content of the CD’s was prepared in collaboration with National Burns Center, Airoli, Mumbai. The members of the Club distributed these CD’s in 153 schools at PCMC area for the general awareness and knowledge of the school children regarding “Burns Prevention”.
