District Economic & Community Development team under the leadership of PP Rtn Kalbhor District Director for this avenue organised a unique program to address the issues & opportunities of the farmers & Farm producer organisations.(FPO) RC Nigdi was the synergy partner of this event . The morning session was very exciting where in the successful young ( below 40 Y) FPO Founders presented their journey . Further Dr Sanjay Patil from BAIF awarded with Vocational Excellence Award by District, he is working on preservation of original & local seeds of the crops. Mr Sanjay Kachole District Agriculture officer explained the importance of organic farming & networking between farmers & urban market. It was a treat to listen to Retired ISA officer Mr Shekhar Gaikwad a renowned personality in Agricultural world, he explained in very simple language Issues, solutions & opportunities in the field of Indian Agriculture. In second session a BYER-SELLER meet was organised with Farmers & FPOS . In all the event was well organised & successful Attended by around 257 delegates from Rotary clubs, FPO, Farmers groups.
