| Minutes of Meeting | Vocational visit today to Tolani Maritime Institute Talegaon. 30 rotarians and 4 anns attended. Arranged by Capt Sanjiv first Gentlemen and coordinated by Vocational chairman Rtn Ramesh Rao. We left at 8.30 from bhakti shakti by CAR POOLING.. reached TMI at 9 am. Had sumptuous breakfast at their canteen. Later we were taken to a class room and Capt Arjun explained in detail about merchant shipping industry, different types of ships, life on ship, etc with the help of a ppt. Later we were taken to experience a simulator. It was a wonderful experience for all, they felt as if they were actually sailing. Then we were given information about the engines and oils used in ships. We actually had to climb a big ship to see the other details, also saw the life boat needed to be used in case of emergency. In all a very eventful and different type of vocational visit. Thankyou all for attending and experiencing... We also had Father of Rtn Ramesh Rao with us.. |
