Goooooooood Morning to *My Rotary Family* ? *Saathi Haath Badhana* appeal done by our *Service Project Team* is really helping the needy in the Community ?. Recently *Rtn. Alka Karkare ji* took a great efforts to collecting Sarees and Duppatas for *Akshar Sparsh Nivasi Matimand* for stitching Cotton bags. Project Name: *???? ???* ??????????????????? *Women Empowerment* and *Avoid Plastic Environmental* Project. Thank you *Rtn. Alka ji and P.P.Rtn. Shrikrishna ji*?? ? ? Deepali Nikhal. Sri and I visited ????? ?????? ?????? ?????? ???? on . We donated 30+ sarees and 6 chunnis collected from our rotary members. It was a very overwhelming experience to listen to Deepali's story. Her son is a retarted child. She alongwith her child were thrown out of the house. She had no one to support her. But this brave lady decided to open a residential school for such unfortunate children .No one in the society was ready to help her.Finally Viralamaya jain temple gave her a small piece of land in the temple's premises. She managed to construct 3-4 rooms where she takes care of around 15-20 such children who are unwanted by the society and their own parents. She looks after them, feeds them and takes care of them. There are 5-6 orphan ladies who stay there and help her to take care of these children . Everyday they cook food for these ladies and children by collecting wood from nearby area. They face a lot of challenges throughout the year. In monsoons , water enters their rooms. In summer they have to get water from tankers. He has devoted her life for these children and for these orphan ladies. These ladies will stitch cotton bags from the sarees donated by us. They will be sold for Rs 10 /- each. The ladies will get around Rs 3-4 per bag and the balance will be useful for their day to day expenses. Her work is now getting recognised in the society. Hats off to her devotion!!
