Our club conferred Rotary Peace awards to *Dr Amol Waghmare* and *Salokha Sampark Gat* 1) Dr Amol Waghmare known to many Rotarians who is working for Adult Literacy & Rural Development. A project in Aptee village is going on. 2) Salokha Sampark Gat is a group which acts to resolve conflicts in cases of Religious and Racial conflicts and estabilish Peace in the community. Very nicely planned Peace Awards ceremony. Rtn Dr Shubhangi Kothari: All languages are superb in its own way. Each is having its own beauty .Yesterday's Peace award program.. . it was @ the request of the awardees that the the program be conducted in Marathi so they would be comfortable. It's fact that one can express his/her emotions properly in one's mother tongue. Both awardees are writer in Marathi ..it's natural that Marathi was in a different level ..not in ????????. Many members from our club appreciated the program. I am forwarding citation for those who missed and other members can re read it. Received msg from both awardees that they liked our club, our social work and the atmosphere. They were very happy...
